Magic Ring With Slip Stitch
- To start, make a double loop ring by creating two loops with your yarn, placing one loop over the other.
- Insert your hook into both loops, and chain 3. This will count as your first double crochet stitch.
- Make 11 more double crochet stitches into the magic ring.
- Find the lower loop and pull the yarn to close the ring.
- Pull the tail of the yarn to finish the magic ring.
- Join with round start using slip stitch.
Magic Ring With Invisible Join
- To start, make a double loop ring by creating two loops with your yarn, placing one loop over the other.
- Insert your hook into both loops, and chain 3. This will count as your first double crochet stitch.
- Make 11 more double crochet stitches into the magic ring.
- Join with round start using slip stitch.
- Fasten off the yarn.
- Find the lower loop and pull the yarn to close the ring.
- Pull the tail of the yarn to finish the magic ring.
- Insert your hook into the second stitch of the round, from front to back. Pull yarn through.
- Insert your hook into back loop of the last stitch, from back to front. Pull yarn through.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully started your project with a magic ring and 12 double crochet circle.
